OC Blossom Festival
Hello! Welcome to the Orange Cove Area Chamber of Commerce Web-site. You will find our web-site an excellent source of information about our community and organization.
P Fresno County’s Annual Blossom Trail Ceremony starts the year's events with the bloom of several varieties of plum, peach, and citrus trees with their beautiful and fragrant flowers for viewing provided by nature. The Fowler Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the event on February 5, 2010. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
P The Annual Easter Egg Hunt is held the Saturday before Easter (April 3, 2010) at J.O. Eaton Park in downtown Orange Cove. Sponsored by the City of Orange Cove there are games, entertainment, and prizes throughout the day.
P The Orange Cove Blossom Festival will be April 10, 2010 at J.O. Eaton Park. Vendor spaces are available. Sponsored by the Orange Cove Chamber and its members, the day starts with a parade, vendor booths, entertainment, raffle prizes, and a pageant to crown the Orange Cove Blossom Queen and her attendants.
P A Cinco de Mayo celebration is usually held the first Saturday in May. This City of Orange Cove sponsored event starts with a parade, vendor booths, entertainment and the coronation of the Cinco de Mayo Queen. Viva la Festiva! The date and location have not been announced. (The Events Committee has announced that this celebration may be replaced by a Mexican Independence Day celebration.
P The Community Awards Banquet sponsored by the Orange Cove Chamber features a formal dinner and dance will be held on June 26, 2010, at the Victor P. Lopez Community Center. More information will be available soon.
P The Orange Cove Chamber’s Annual Meeting & Officer Installation Ceremony has tentatively been scheduled for June 30, 2010. Please watch for updates.
P Summer finds us celebrating America’s Independence Day with a free fireworks display sponsored by the City of Orange Cove on July 3 at 1705 Anchor Avenue. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and the show starts at dusk.
P The Annual Haunted House at J.O. Eaton Park is a joint community event featuring a haunted house, a bounce house, and various informational booths. The date has not been announced.
P The Annual Light Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony, sponsored by the City of Orange Cove, begins at 6:00 p.m. the second Tuesday in December. Please watch for updates.
P The Orange Cove Chamber, The Flower Basket, Orange Cove Hardware, and Union Bank sponsor the annual Christmas Tree Drawing during the Chamber Christmas Mixer. This year the Christmas Mixer is December 16, 2009 hosted by Union Bank.

Note: The arbor pictured above is located at the east entrance to Orange Cove at Highway 63. This inviting sculpture was dedicated on April 12, 2007. It was created in a joint effort between the City of Orange Cove and the Orange Cove Area Chamber of Commerce. Robert Pritz, Sam Escobar, and other volunteers were on hand for the dedication. The artwork was designed by Marilyn McKinney, and assembled with the assistance of D.H. Machine, McKinney Packing, Fruit Growers Supply, and numerous other local businesses.
